}} Alfonso Rafael "Kiko" Garcia (born October 14, 1953) is a former Major League Baseball infielder. He played ten seasons in the major leagues from {{baseball year|1976}} until {{baseball year|1985}}. Garcia, who is of Mexican American descent,[1] played for the Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros, and Philadelphia Phillies. Garcia was primarily a shortstop, playing 459 of his 619 career games there, but he also spent time as a second baseman (120 games) and third baseman (51 games). He was the starting shortstop for the American League champion Orioles in {{baseball year|1979}}.
