释义 |
The Killer B's were players on the Houston Astros whose names started with the letter B. HistoryThe name "Killer B's" was first used on March 31, 1996, when it referenced Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Sean Berry, and Derek Bell. The name carried on for several years even after Berry and Bell's departure with Lance Berkman's arrival in 1999. Although there were several other "Killer B's", the core players were either Biggio-Bagwell-Bell or Biggio-Bagwell-Berkman. In Wins Above Replacement, the Biggio-Bagwell-Bell trio are among the all-time best trios with the same letter in their last names.[1] Killer B's in chronological orderStarting with Bell's arrival, here are the Killer B's in chronological order Craig Biggio (1995-2007) Jeff Bagwell (1995-2005) Derek Bell (1995-1999) Sean Berry[2] (1996-1998) Lance Berkman (1999-2010) Chris Burke[3] (2004-2007) Carlos Beltran[4] (2004, 2017) References1. ^{{Cite news|url=http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-baseball/21444862/remembering-the-killer-bs|title=Remembering the 'Killer B's'|newspaper=CBSSports.com|access-date=2017-02-05|language=en}} {{Houston Astros}}2. ^{{Cite news|url=https://www.reference.com/sports-active-lifestyle/killer-bees-houston-astros-cc108762391b6a44|title=Who are the Killer Bees on the Houston Astros?|newspaper=Reference|access-date=2017-02-05|language=en}} 3. ^{{Cite web|url=http://onlineathens.com/stories/101505/spo_20051015070.shtml#.WJdztoErJdg|title=Burke newest member of the Killer B's {{!}} Online Athens|website=onlineathens.com|access-date=2017-02-05}} 4. ^{{Cite web|url=http://mlb.mlb.com/content/printer_friendly/mlb/y2004/m10/d12/c891601.jsp|title=Beltran leads swarm of Killer B's|website=mlb.mlb.com|access-date=2017-02-05}} 2 : Houston Astros players|Nicknamed groups of baseball players |
