{{Other uses of|Kotovsky}}{{Coord|52|32|N|41|47|E|display=title|region:RU_type:city_source:GNS-enwiki}}Kotovskoye ({{lang-ru|Котовское}}) is a rural locality (selo) in Kotovsky Selsoviet of Rasskazovsky District of Tambov Oblast, Russia.^[1]

The village was founded in 1744 as Kobylenka ({{lang|ru|Кобыленка}}).^[2] According to the Second Audit of 1744, the village was settled by the migrants from nearby Koptevo and Zderevaya.^[2] According to the Audit, the village population was 152.^[2]

In the 1950s, the village was given its present name in honor of Grigory Kotovsky,^[2] a prominent Soviet military leader and communist activist.
