The German population was expelled and has been replaced by Poles. Kończyce lies approximately {{convert|4|km|mi|0}} south of Domaniów, {{convert|15|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-west of Oława, and {{convert|30|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south of the regional capital Wrocław.
