Verbroedering Geel as a youth. On 6 August 2009 Standard Liege signed the goalkeeper from K.V. Kortrijk on a three-year deal.[3] On 11 June 2011, he returned to Kortrijk on a one-year contract. Van Hout is the joint second tallest footballer in the professional game along with Paul Millar, both standing at 6 feet 10 inches (2.08m). Honours
