It is the first high school to be located within the city limits of Parker, Colorado, United States since Parker High School was closed in 1958.[2] CampusLegend High School is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Hilltop Road and Canterberry Parkway, the entrance to the Parker neighborhood of Idyllwilde. It is an open campus school to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Cimarron Middle School is located adjacent to the Legend High School campus. AthleticsThe varsity athletic programs at Legend include football, volleyball, wrestling, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, tennis, softball, swim, cheer, poms, gymnastics, golf, track, rugby, and cross country. The school's teams compete in the 5A Continental League of the Colorado High School Athletics Association (CHSAA). The 2012-2013 basketball team made it to the Final Four in 5A state playoffs, the fastest ascent to the Final Four in Colorado Big School history.[3] The 2012-2013 baseball team were 5A state runner-ups.{{citation needed|date=November 2018}} The 2017 softball team won the 5A Colorado high school state championships on the 21st October 2017 against Fossil Ridge, winning 9-3. This was the first time a Legend team won a state championship.{{citation needed|date=November 2018}} The 2018 softball team won the 5A Colorado high school state championships on the 20th October 2018 against Cherokee Trail, winning 8-4, claiming the school's second state championship.{{citation needed|date=November 2018}} Titan Band ProgramThe Legend band program includes the Marching and Concert Bands during the first semester. They are replaced by the Symphonic Band or Wind Ensemble during the second semester. Legend Titan Marching BandThe Legend Titan Marching Band has been a consistent 5A state finalist since it was started.{{citation needed|date=November 2018}} The marching band recently received the 3rd place bronze medal at the 2017 CBA 5A State Championships after a 4 year streak of 4th place.{{citation needed|date=November 2018}} The band, also in 2017, competed at the BOA Grand National Championships. The marching band has traveled to California, Hawaii, Florida, St. Louis, Indianapolis, and London.
Coliseum CraziesThe Coliseum Crazies[4] is the student-led student section that cheers on the Titans at athletic events. Vocal music programLegend High School's vocal music program includes over 350 students. The choirs have traveled and performed nationally, and performed at Carnegie Hall in 2013.{{citation needed|date=October 2015}} EDGE ProgramThe Legend High School EDGE Program is a non traditional education pathway offered to students of Legend High School in Parker, Colorado. Consisting of project based learning, students in the program create interdisciplinary projects each academic quarter and present them to parents and community members for feedback, Students are also able to pursue hobbies, passions, and possible future careers as they build projects, and are frequently required to travel outside the classroom for real world experiences. Since The EDGE Program’s creation in 2016, it contains 202 Students,[5] a faculty to student ratio of 1:9, 186 partnerships with businesses and organizations in the community, and support from the school and community of Parker. CurriculumCurriculum in The EDGE Program consists of personalized and project based learning. Students often choose topics related to their core classes or interests, and explore these topics in depth. They then use these topics to create cross-curricular projects to present to the community during “Exhibition Nights”. CoursesThe EDGE Program's basic classes are humanities, Spanish, English, math, science, and technology. Although Spanish is the only languages taught in the program, students can opt out of Spanish if they are receiving credit for another language in the school. The EDGE Program offers 9 Honors classes and 12 concurrent enrollment classes, to allow students more flexibility in the content they learn and the depth they go into. EDGE also allows select students to take AP Courses and college classes at the Arapahoe Community College, as well as special electives for project management or job internships to receive credit for extracurricular activities outside of EDGE. GradingGrading is based on students’ growth and interests. Students receive grades based on their growth in relation to their achievements. Students are also encouraged to receive feedback before each exhibition night, and have opportunities to continue projects to gain more depth and understanding. Job Shadowing/Internship OpportunitiesStudents in The EDGE Program are required to participate in Job Shadows and Internships with members of the community. These internships and shadows provide real world knowledge, skills, and networks for students within their fields of interest, and may help them find future career options previously unbeknownst to them. Students must contact these businesses and organizations on their own, and if they cannot secure a connection, EDGE Mentors will help them. EDGE currently has 176 Business Partners and 12 Non-profit partners for students to connect with.[5] Students have shadowed at law firms, engineering firms, NASA, with the current mayor of Parker, Mike Waid, the South Metro Fire Department, and many more. Many of these now becoming partners with the school and open to more students shadowing or interning. MentorsTeachers in The EDGE Program are known in the program as Mentors. These mentors teach the students, but also provide support to the students, and students are encouraged to create positive relationships with the mentors. The EDGE Program currently has 11 Mentors for the Freshman and Sophomore grade levels.[5] Legend TSALegend High School currently Participates in the Technology Student Association and competes annually in district, state, and national competitions.{{citation needed|date=October 2018}} In 2018, 12 events from Legend placed in State competitions, with one event, Software Development, placing 9th at the nationals level in Atlanta, Georgia.{{citation needed|date=October 2018}} Notable alumni
