The region[1] of South West England has, since the 2010 general election, 55 parliamentary constituencies which is made up of 15 Borough Constituencies and 40 County Constituencies. At that election the Conservative Party held the largest number of constituencies, with 36. The Liberal Democrats had 15 and Labour had just 4 out of the 55. At the 2015 general election the Liberal Democrats lost all of their seats (14 to the Conservatives and one to Labour), while the Conservatives gained one seat from Labour, leaving the Conservatives with 51 and Labour with 4. In the 2017 general election, the Conservatives remained, by far, the largest party with 47 seats, though losing three to Labour, who won 7, and one to the Liberal Democrats, who won 1. {{infobox England region | name = South West England | short_name = South West | hq = | imagename = File:South West England in England.svg | largest_city = Bristol | area_km2= 23,800 | area_mi2= 9200 | area_rank= 1st | density = {{convert|222|/km2|/sqmi|abbr=on}} | nuts= UKK | ons= E12000009 | euro= South West England | population = 5,289,000 | population_year = 2011 | population_rank= 6th of 9 | total_gva= 113 billion | gva_rank= 4th | gva= 18,195 | board= South West Councils | development_agency = South West of England RDA | url = http://www.swcouncils.gov.uk/nqcontent.cfm?a_id=1 }}Constituencies{{legend2|{{Conservative Party (UK)/meta/color}}|† Conservative|border=1px solid #aaaaaa}}{{legend2|{{Labour Party (UK)/meta/color}}|‡ Labour|border=1px solid #aaaaaa}}{{legend2|{{Liberal Democrats (UK)/meta/color}}|¤ Liberal Democrat|border=1px solid #aaaaaa}}{{legend2|{{Independent (politician)/meta/color}}|‡ Independent|border=1px solid #aaaaaa}}{{legend2|{{The Independent Group/meta/color}}|The Independent Group|‡|border=1px solid #aaaaaa}}Constituency [2] | Electorate[3] | Majority[4] | Member of Parliament | Nearest opposition | County | County Location | Constituency Map |
