{{Use dmy dates|date=December 2013}}Notts County Football Club were formed in 1862 and were one of the founder members of The Football League in 1888. Their victory in the 1894 FA Cup Final represents their only major honour to date. Their highest league finish in the top division is third place, which they achieved in 1890–91 and 1900–01, while in the League Cup the club has never progressed beyond the quarter-final stage. The table details the club's achievements in all national and European first team competitions, and records their top goalscorer, for each completed season.
