{{DISPLAYTITLE:List of RuPaul's Drag Race contestants}}

This is a list of contestants who have appeared on the American television show RuPaul's Drag Race. Since the series first aired in 2009, a total of 126 contestants have competed, with ten drag queens — BeBe Zahara Benet, Tyra Sanchez, Raja, Sharon Needles, Jinkx Monsoon, Bianca Del Rio, Violet Chachki, Bob the Drag Queen, Sasha Velour, and Aquaria being crowned as "America's Next Drag Superstar".

In addition, the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars aired in 2012 featuring 12 returning contestants from the first four seasons. Chad Michaels, a runner-up in season 4, won. Alaska, a runner-up in season 5, won the second season in 2016. Trixie Mattel, from season 7, won the third season in 2018. Trinity the Tuck and Monét X Change tied as the winners of the fourth season in 2019, the first time that RuPaul has ever crowned two winners in one season.

Monica Beverly Hillz from season 5 confirmed in an interview that the show does not require contestants to identify as male and that transgender women can participate if they consider themselves drag artists.[1]

As of 2019, Shangela and Latrice Royale hold the record for the most season appearances as a competitor with 4 each. Shangela has competed in season 2, season 3, All Stars 3, and the Holi-slay Spectacular, while Latrice Royale has competed in season 4, All Stars 1, the Holi-slay Spectacular, and All Stars 4.

{{As of|2019}}, the first and only contestant to die is season 2 contestant Sahara Davenport, in October 2012 at age 27.[2] Davenport was in a long-term relationship with season 3 contestant Manila Luzon at the time.

RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars

Since 2012, World of Wonder has produced four seasons of All Stars, a spin-off series where past contestants return to compete for a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. The first season premiered on October 22, 2012 on the Logo network and featured a new format in which the twelve contestants would be competing and eliminated as pairs until the final episode when one member of from both remaining pairs would have the chance to win the crown.

In 2015, it was announced that the series would return to Logo for a second season. Premiering on August 25, 2016, ten past contestants returned to compete and the show's format returned to one more similar to the main series; however, it was revealed that RuPaul would not be eliminating anyone and that the queen who won each main challenge would have to select a low-performing queen to send home.

As of 2018, only two contestants have competed in more than one season of All Stars. As a twist, “Team Latrila” from All Stars 1 — Manila Luzon (originally from season 3) and Latrice Royale (from season 4) — returned together to compete in All Stars 4 as individual contestants.

All information is accurate as of the time the season was filmed.
