CareerLouis Dugauguez played amateur football for {{Interlanguage link multi|ES Bully|fr|3=Étoile sportive de Bully-les-Mines|lt=Bully}}, {{Interlanguage link multi|Stade béthunois football club|fr|3=Stade béthunois football club|lt=Béthune}}, Lens, Toulouse, Carvin and Sedan, where he began his coaching career as a player-coach of the side. Coaching careerHe managed Sedan and led the team to success in Coupe de France twice, in 1956 and 1961.
