Skopje Fest 2011It appeared that the 2011 selection process in Macedonia would feature only one show, to be held in February, although the national broadcaster MKRTV had not confirmed it yet. Materials could be sent to the national broadcaster until 10 January.[1] The final took place 27 February. Participation in Skopje 2011 was restricted to national citizens of Macedonia.[2][3] Nade Talevska intended to participate in Skopjefest with the song "Vo mojot svet imas dom" written by Grigor Koprov, Vladimir Dojcinovski and Borce Dimitrov. However she withdrew from the selection because of overseas arrangements.[4] Dule i Koki intended to participate with the song "Neka e so pomin" written by Ljupco Mirkovski and Ognen Nedelkovski. They withdrew explaining that Skopjefest is rigged.[5][6]
At EurovisionOn 12 May, Macedonia competed eleventh in the second semi-final of the contest. They placed sixteenth with 36 points and failed to qualify for the final. Split Results
