Data Centre and HostingMacquarie Telecom Group owns and runs several data centers as part of its business selling colocation, cyber security, managed services, managed hosting and cloud services to business and government customers. The data centres are located in Sydney and Canberra and are branded by Macquarie Telecom Group as "Intellicentres". Its second Sydney Data Center, Intellicentre 2, was opened September 2012,[13] followed by Intellicentre 4 in July 2013.[14] Intellicentre 4 or IC4 is located in Canberra and was built to support Australian Federal Government agencies. It provides Secure Internet Gateways (SIGs) and Cloud Services across Hybrid IT environments including private cloud computing, cloud storage, networking, backup and disaster recovery. Macquarie's data centres offer the highest levels of security, reliability and energy efficiency.
