}}Macrosaccus uhlerella is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is known from Illinois, Missouri, New York, Colorado and Texas in the United States.[2] The wingspan is 6-6.5 mm. The larvae feed on Amorpha species (including Amorpha fruticosa) and Robinia species. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mature mine is an elongate-oval, whitish blotch located on the underside of the leaf usually near the edge of the leaflet. Eventually, as the mine becomes tentiform, the leaf edge is slightly curled.[3] GalleryReferences1. ^[https://archive.org/details/revisionofnortha00braurich Revision of the North American species of the genus Lithocolletis Hübner] 2. ^Global Taxonomic Database of Gracillariidae (Lepidoptera){{dead link|date=January 2018 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }} 3. ^{{Cite web |url=https://www.pensoft.net/inc/journals/download.php?fileId=2154&fileTable=J_GALLEYS |title=Systematics and biology of the new genus Macrosaccus with descriptions of two new species (Lepidoptera, Gracillariidae) |access-date=2018-01-15 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120319184450/http://www.pensoft.net/inc/journals/download.php?fileId=2154&fileTable=J_GALLEYS |archive-date=2012-03-19 |dead-url=no |df= }} External links
