He is the lead guitarist, and also one of the founding members, of the Welsh/American rock band No Devotion and previously a member of the Welsh rock band Lostprophets. CareerGaze was born in Pontypridd, Wales. He grew up on a council estate, and was childhood friends with future bandmate Mike Lewis. Gaze did not do well at school: as he told Kerrang! in 2006, "They were the kids that did better in school and, before I discovered music, I was a total delinquent".[1] Gaze formed his first band, Aftermath, in 1996. The following year he co-founded the band Lostprophets, for whom he was the lead guitarist.
