Elected to the Colorado House of Representatives as a Republican in 2008, Waller represented House District 15, which encompasses portions of northeastern Colorado Springs, Colorado.[3] Legislative career2008 electionMark Waller defeated incumbent Rep. Douglas Bruce in the contested Republican primary in August, taking 52 percent of votes cast.[4] Waller faced Democrat Leslie Maksimowicz in the November 2008 general election.
