KDF acquired the MRC batch and etch product lines from Tokyo Electron - 1999: Praxair Surface Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Praxair, Inc. acquired the business of Materials Research Corporation (MRC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America.
