Her second movie was Just Married in 2007.[6] She directed a short film Pooranmasi for Sanjay Gupta's anthology Dus Kahaniyaan, starring Amrita Singh. Meghna then directed Talvar,[7] written by Vishal Bharadwaj and based on the 2008 Noida double murder case.[8] The film garnered Gulzar Best Director nomination at the 61st Filmfare Awards Meghna's latest directorial venture is titled Raazi.[9] Produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions, it stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.[10] The film is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat.[11] The film won the award for Best Film and earned Gulzar the award for Best Director at the 64th Filmfare Awards She is currently working on a film based on Neelesh Misra's book about the Indian Airlines Flight 814 hijack with Vishal Bhardwaj.[12] She has announced her next directorial project to be Deepika Padukone's debut project as a producer based on an acid attack survivor.[13] Filmography
