BiographyBorn in Hollywood, California, Kenny was ordained a Catholic priest on March 30, 1963. On March 22, 1979, Pope John Paul II named him the third Bishop of Juneau. He was consecrated by the pope on May 27, 1979. The co-consecrators were Archbishops Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy who was secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and Eduardo Martínez Somalo who was an Official of the Secretariat of State.
