Club careerHe started his career in Levadiakos F.C.. He played five seasons for the Livadeia club before earning a transfer to AEK Athens F.C., where he played until 2004. He finished second in voting for Greek Footballer of the year in 1995. He was also voted one of the best 22 players in Europe during the 2001–02 season.
