Since May 17, 1992, the village, together with the rest of Lachin district, has been occupied by the Armenian military.[1][2][3] GeographyThe village is located on the west bank of the Hakari River and in the northern part of Lachin district, 320 km from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
