DescriptionThe codex contains a complete text of the four Gospels, on 294 parchment leaves ({{×|26|20}}), with a commentaries.[2][3] The text is written in one column per page, biblical text in 21 lines and text of commentary in 57 lines per page. The ink is brown.{{r|Gregory}} A commentary to Matthew and John is of Chrysostom's authorship, to Mark of Victors, and to Luke of Bostra.{{r|Gregory}} The text is divided according to the {{lang|grc|κεφαλαια}} (chapters) whose numbers are given at the margin, and their {{lang|grc|τιτλοι}} (titles) at the top of the pages. There is also another division according to the smaller Ammonian Sections, with references to the Eusebian Canons.{{r|Gregory}} It contains the Epistula ad Carpianum, Eusebian Canon tables, prolegomena, tables of the {{lang|grc|κεφαλαια}} (tables of contents) before each Gospel, liturgical books with hagiographies (Menologion and Synaxarium), and subscriptions at the end of each Gospel.[4] TextThe Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type, with a few alien readings.[5] Aland placed it in Category V.[6] It was not examined by using the Claremont Profile Method.[7] The text of the Pericope Adulterae (John 7:53-8:11) is omitted.[8] The text of Mark 16:9-20 has a note of Victor's.{{r|Gregory}} HistoryIt is dated by the INTF to the 14th-century.{{r|Aland|INTF}} It was added to the list of the New Testament manuscripts by Johann Jakob Wettstein, who gave it the number 12.{{r|Gregory}} It was examined and described by Wettstein, Griesbach,[9] and Paulin Martin.[10] C.
