The feature is {{convert|1.5|nmi|km|abbr=off}} southwest of Mount Sinha at the southeast margin of Erickson Bluffs in McDonald Heights, Marie Byrd Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959-65.
