The wingspan is about 23 mm. The forewings are greenish grey, irrorated (sprinkled) with white. There is a white costal streak, margined beneath with fuscous reddish. The remaining lines are very obscure, narrow and white. The hindwings have the same colour and mostly the same markings as the forewings.[3] References1. ^{{cite web |last1=Pitkin |first1=Brian |last2=Jenkins |first2=Paul |date=November 5, 2004 |url=http://www.nhm.ac.uk/our-science/data/butmoth/search/GenusDetails.dsml?NUMBER=18795.0 |title=Myrmidonistis Meyrick, 1887 |website=Butterflies and Moths of the World |publisher=Natural History Museum, London |accessdate=May 30, 2018}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q6948378}}{{Spilomelinae-stub}}2. ^{{cite web |last=Nuss |first=M. |display-authors=etal |date=2003–2017 |url=http://globiz.pyraloidea.org/Pages/Reports/TaxonReport.aspx |title=GlobIZ search |website=Global Information System on Pyraloidea |accessdate=May 30, 2018}} 3. ^[https://archive.org/stream/transactionsofen1887roya#page/197/mode/1up Transactions of the Entomological Society of London. 1887 (3): 197] 5 : Spilomelinae|Taxa named by Edward Meyrick|Monotypic moth genera|Moths of Australia|Crambidae genera |
