The barn is a good example of a fieldstone-built bank barn with a byre on the lower level and an earth ramp on the opposite side providing access to a haymow.[2] The simple stone springhouse is the source of 3½ acre Nallin Pond. The barn and springhouse were built circa 1800. The Nallin Farm Springhouse and Bank Barn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.[1] References1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2010a}} 2. ^{{cite web|url=https://mht.maryland.gov/secure/medusa/PDF/NR_PDFs/NR-435.pdf |title=National Register of Historic Places Registration: Nallin Farm Springhouse and Bank Barn|date=December 1995|accessdate=2016-01-01 |author=Deborah K.
