As of the 2000 census, its population was 396. Nashville Township takes its name from Nashville, Tennessee.[1] Laid out by Thomas and Squire Baker in January 28, 1869 GeographyNashville Township covers an area of {{convert|48.6|sqmi|km2}} and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains two cemeteries: Pierce and Shapley.
