HistoryThe trophy was called the Wills Cup until 1998. The trophy was renamed the Tissot Cup in 1998, and as the One Day National Tournament in 2000. In 2002–2003, it was played as National Bank of Pakistan Patron's Cup. In 2003–04, it was played as Quaid-e-Azam Cup. From 2004–05 to 2007–08, it was called the ABN-AMRO Cup or ABN-AMRO Gold League and Silver League. The following two years it was known as The Royal Bank of Scotland Cup. In 2010–11 and 2011–12 Faysal Bank took over as the lead sponsor and a two-division system with a promotion and relegation system was adopted. In 2012–13 and 2013–14 it was called the President's Cup, in 2014–15 it was the Haier President's Gold Cup, and in 2015–16 it was the Cool & Cool Presents National One-Day Cup.
