Nexian is a mobile phone company in Indonesia which was acquired by Spice Group in 2011.[1] Started in 2006 by Martono Jayakusuma. They were the first local brand who achieved 100,000 locally produced handset in 6 month.[2] It has the fourth largest market share with 5% of mobile phones in Indonesia. Nexian creates mostly QWERTY mobile phones. They sell smartphones with multi SIM cards in-one on budget markets. ProductsAndroidNexian Android A890 Journey is Nexian's first Android smartphone. The launching price is less than Rp800,000 ($80.8).[7][8] CDMAAll of Nexian's CDMA phones and smartphones have a similar system with the GSM phones. Some phones use the term NX-FPxxx for phones in partnership with Telkom's Flexi CDMA service. Phones such as NX-C900 are one of Nexian's CDMA smartphones that uses QWERTY keyboard. HybridNexian has produced Candybar Handsets and QWERTY Dual SIM handsets. In October 2010, the mobile phone company launched the Nexian Hybrid NX-271D that can support three cards (2GSM + 1CDMA) as well as standby (Triple On).[9] It is not the first handphone in Indonesia with capability of Triple On.
