The Northern Macedonian dialects are one of three groups of the Macedonian language. The group is located in the northern and northeastern areas of the Republic of Macedonia, surrounding the cities and towns of Tetovo, Skopje, Kumanovo, Kratovo, Kriva Palanka, and Sveti Nikole.
