}} Notodonta tritophus, the three-humped prominent, is a moth of the family Notodontidae. It is found in most of Europe (although it is a very rare immigrant Great Britain), east to the Caucasus and Armenia. The wingspan is 45–55 mm. Adults are on wing from April to August in two generations in western Europe. The larvae mainly feed on Populus species (mainly Populus tremula), and sometimes Salix and Betula. Larvae can be found from June to September. The species overwinters in the pupal stage. Subspecies
