Nouriya Al-Subaih is a former education minister of Kuwait. She refused to wear a headscarf during her tenure.^[1] In January 2008, she survived a no confidence vote by Islamist MPs.^[2]

After the 2009 general election, she was replaced as education minister by Moudhi Humoud.^[3]^[4]
