Nowe Leśne Bohatery {{IPAc-pl|'|n|o|w|e|-|'|l|e|ś|n|e|-|b|o|h|a|'|t|e|r|y}} ({{lang-be|Новыя Лясныя Багатыры}}) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lipsk, within Augustów County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.^[1] It lies approximately {{convert|11|km|mi|0}} north-east of Lipsk, {{convert|38|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} east of Augustów, and {{convert|80|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north of the regional capital Białystok.

Name

The name of the settlement originates from {{lang-be|багатыр}}, which means "rich man". There is also a settlement Polnyja Bahatyry on the Belarusian side of the border.
