The whole park is {{convert|3.4|ha|acre}}.[1] HistoryA private park was started by Harry Linmark before 1934.{{cn|date=February 2017}} A band, weekly on Sunday, previously{{when?|date=February 2017}} held entertaining shows at the park. Chinese New Year celebrations and picnics hosted by the Salvation Army were held in the park.[2] A zoo was constructed in the park which held animals, such as kangaroos, monkeys, snakes and emus.{{cn|date=February 2017}} Around the same period{{when?|date=February 2017}} a wine bar was also constructed, but it was noisy and received complaints.
