Ofusato (承察度) (1337–1398) was the first chief of Nanzan, a principality in the southernmost end of Okinawa Island.[1] His chosen capital was Nanzan Castle, in Itoman. He began the Ōzato Dynasty of Nanzan. He presented himself to the Chinese imperial court for recognition in 1388.
