}}Old Indonesia derby (commonly known as Indonesian El clásico or Classic Duel) is the name given in football to any match between fierce rivals Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung. The rivalry between the both teams begins since 1933 at that time Persija and Persib competed to become champions in 1933 Perserikatan and persija came out as champions while Persib was runner-up. But, the rivalry between the two teams began to heat up since the 2000s. with the hostility of supporters, and has spread both sides as a prestigious match in Indonesian Football.{{Citation needed|date=March 2017}}

Their supporters have never met after the start of hostilities between supporters of Persija and Persib in the 2000s, to date. Many conflicts occur including the death of one of the supporters and clashes which resulted in injury.

Bobotoh

Persib's supporters are called Bobotoh, which means the ones who supports individuals competing in a competition.^[13] There are many big supporter groups, but the most famous groups are Viking Persib Club, Bomber (Bobotoh Maung Bandung Bersatu), The Bomb's and Flowers City Casuals.^[14]^[15]

Viking Persib Club

Viking Persib Club (VPC) is the biggest fan group of Persib supporters, and the first fan group in Indonesia, this Group has been established since 1993. is the largest supporters group of Persib. Viking is also part of bobotoh founded in 1993.

The Jakmania

The Jakmania is Persija supporter club were established in December 1997. The Jakmania members are spread in all of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek).

Violence

The biggest violence occurred on September 23, 2018, when before the match begins, one of the Jakmania member, Haringga Sirla, died because he was killed by some unscrupulous host fans.^[16]Condolences for Haringga also flowed from the netizens throughout social media platforms.
