}}Osteolepidida, also known as osteolepiformes,[1] are a group of prehistoric lobe-finned fishes which appeared first time during the Devonian period. The order contains five families: Canowindridae, Megalichthyidae, Osteolepidae, Thysanolepidae and Tristichopteridae.
