These freshwater snails mainly feed on blue-green algae, diatoms and organic debris. Distribution and habitatThis species is widespread along the Western Africa coasts, in Mauritania, Ivory Coast Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria and Gabon.
