Course and featuresPambula River rises in timbered highlands near the locality of Lochiel and flows generally east, flowing through Pambula Lake, before reaching its mouth into the Tasman Sea of the South Pacific Ocean near the locality of Pambula Beach. The river descends {{convert|83|m}} over its {{convert|15|km}} course.[1] The catchment area of the river is {{convert|296|km2}} with a volume of {{convert|9774|ML}} over a surface area of {{convert|4.7|km2}}, at an average depth of {{convert|2.2|m}}.[4] South of Pambula, the Princes Highway crosses the river.
