The 6th Pennsylvania House of Representatives District is in northwestern Pennsylvania and has been represented since 2007 by Bradley T. Roae.

This is the district of Robert Budd Dwyer (November 21, 1939 – January 22, 1987),as the 30th Treasurer of Pennsylvania.On January 22, 1987, Dwyer called a news conference in the Pennsylvania state capital of Harrisburg where he killed himself in front of the gathered reporters [1]
