Being one of the first companies accepted by the Entrepreneurship Program, and HKUST as shareholder since 2000, the company received support from HKUST such as space in the HKUST’s on-campus technology incubator and related services, designation of an advisory team providing guidance on technical and management issues, and introductions to potential investors, sources of venture capital and potential partners during the start-up stage. Since 2007 and up to June 2009, more than 14 million consumer electronic devices which utilized PD technologies had been shipped. The company was successfully listed on the Growth Enterprise Market board (stock code: 8248) of Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 16, 2009.
