}}Physornis is an extinct genus of giant flightless predatory birds of the family Phorusrhacidae or "terror birds", within the subfamily Brontornithinae, that lived in Argentina. The type species is P. fortis. It lived during the Middle to Late Oligocene (Deseadan).
