Plagiobothrys chorisianus is a species of flowering plant in the borage family known by the common name artist's popcornflower. It is endemic to California, where it can be found in and around the San Francisco Bay Area and parts of the coastline to the south.

It is a resident of chaparral, coastal scrub and grassland habitat. It is an annual herb with a spreading or erect stem {{convert|10|to|40|cm|in|0|sp=us|abbr=off}} in length. The leaves along the stem are {{convert|3|to|7|cm|in|frac=4|sp=us|abbr=off}} long and coated in rough hairs. The inflorescence is a series of tiny flowers, each on a pedicel up to {{convert|1|cm|in|spell=in|frac=4|sp=us|abbr=off}} in length. The five-lobed white flower is {{convert|1+1/2|cm|in|frac=3|spell=in|sp=us|abbr=off}} wide with a center of white to bright yellow appendages.

This species is sometimes divided into varieties.
