}}Poliodes is a genus of moths in the family Sphingidae, containing one species, Poliodes roseicornis, which is known from dry bush in Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya.[2] The length of the forewings is 20–22 mm for males and 28–30 mm for females. The body is grey. The forewings have crenulated transverse lines. The terminal area is darker, with some pale grey mottling. There is a large irregular darker grey spot at the costa. The hindwings are uniform brownish grey, but darker at the tornus. There is a faint dark submarginal line. Females are larger and brighter.
