FamilyMaria Cristina is the second and youngest daughter of Amedeo, 3rd Duke of Aosta, Italian Viceroy and Governor-General of Italian East Africa during World War II, and his wife Princess Anne d'Orléans.[1][2] Marriage and issueMaria Cristina married Prince Casimir of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, son of Prince Gabriel of Bourbon-Two Sicilies and his wife Princess Cecylia Lubomirska, on 29 January 1967 in Jacarezinho, Brazil.[1][2] Maria Cristina and Casimir have four children:[1][2]
