It is named after the inventor Johann Puch (1862–1914).[2] It is {{convert|430|m}} long and {{convert|18.7|m|abbr=on}} wide, and has an area of {{convert|8097|m2}}. It was built from October 2005 until May 2007, when it was opened for traffic.
