释义 |
The Quintino Sella Hut (French: Refuge Quintino Sella) is a very remote bivouac hut in the Mont Blanc massif of the Alps in Aosta Valley, Italy. Built in the 1920s, it is perched on rocks on the south-western flank of the Rocher du Mont Blanc at an altitude of 3,396 m. It is owned by the CAI and can accommodate up to sixteen people with bunk and blankets provided, but no stove or warden.[1][2][3] AccessThe hut is amongst the most challenging of the alpine refuges to reach in the Mont Blanc massif, with two approach possibilities.
AscentsThe bivouac hut provides access for climbers to the Miage face of Mont Blanc, including the Brouillard Ridge and the Tournette Spur.[2] References1. ^{{cite web|title=Refuge Quintino Sella bivouac|url=http://www.refuges.info/point/4033/cabane-non-gardee/Mont-Blanc/Refuge-bivouac-Quintino-Sella/|website=www.refuges.info|accessdate=27 February 2016}} 2. ^1 {{cite book|last1=Moran|first1=Martin|title=The 4000m Peaks of the Alps|page=274|date=July 2012|publisher=The Alpine Club|isbn=9780900523663}} 3. ^{{cite book|last1=Griffin|first1=Lindsay|title=Mont Blanc Massif Volume 1|date=1990|publisher=Alpine Club|page=25|location=London|isbn=0900523573}} External links
