Radiant Logic’s federated identity and directory platform, RadiantOne FID, is designed specifically for deployment in high-volume, high-complexity identity environments. RadiantOne FID includes an abstraction layer, extracting and virtualizing identity and context information out of various application and data silos, including AD domains and forests, LDAP directories, SQL databases, and more. RadiantOne FID also includes a scalable directory, HDAP, which is fully LDAP v3 compatible. RadiantOne FID re-maps the underlying data sources and presents the identity data in views customized for the needs of enterprise applications to enable authentication and fine-grained authorization for identity management and context-driven applications. Radiant Logic’s global customer base includes many Fortune 1000 companies in the fields of banking, finance, insurance, government, communications, manufacturing, education, entertainment and healthcare. Headquartered in Novato, CA, Radiant Logic has satellite offices in Chicago and Washington, DC, and distribution channels throughout the world. ProductsRadiantOne FIDRadiant Logic is best known for its federated identity and directory service, RadiantOne FID [2], which includes an identity integration layer based on patented identity virtualization technology, as well as HDAP, the LDAP v3-compliant directory store. Virtualization and Integration LayerRadiantOne FID is designed to simplify complex identity infrastructures with diverse identity data stores commonly found in large corporations and organizations. The system integrates identity data from these diverse sources to offer a central identity hub with complete user profiles for use in authentication and authorization processes. Because the system uses virtualization, it preserves the integrity of the existing data stores and minimizes disruption to the existing infrastructure. HDAPHDAP is the proprietary storage component of the RadiantOne FID platform involved in storing, searching, and discovering identity information. It provides scalability and persistent caching to speed information retrieval of the most current user identity data. RadiantOne Identity Correlation and Synchronization Server (ICS)Built on RadiantOne virtualization technology, ICS provides two services in identity management: object synchronization and identity correlation. Object synchronization keeps identity data coherent across enterprise systems. To avoid inconsistencies and erroneous data, ICS detects changes in data sources and propagates these changes according to customized business logic. Identity correlation creates a unified view of identity data across multiple systems necessary for a comprehensive IdM infrastructure, identifying intersections and eliminating overlaps. RadiantOne Cloud Federation Service (CFS)The RadiantOne Cloud Federation Service (CFS) provides the RadiantOne suite with a complete identity provider (IdP), packing identity information from the virtual directory into authentication tokens that can be relayed to on-premises and cloud-based applications, enabling single sign-on for users. While RadiantOne FID is compatible with any Identity Provider, CFS enables a secure federated infrastructure and creates one access and audit point to connect all internal identity and authentication sources to cloud applications.
