It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Radowo Małe.[1] It lies approximately {{convert|12|km|mi|0}} west of Łobez and {{convert|63|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north-east of the regional capital Szczecin. Before 1945 the area was part of the German Province of Pomerania. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.
