Rickey Alan Baldwin (born June 1, 1953) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He threw right-handed and batted left-handed. In his three-season career, he played for the New York Mets ({{By|1975}}–{{By|1977}}).

Baldwin was drafted by the New York Mets in the 9th round of the 1971 amateur draft on June 8, 1971.[1] He made his major league debut on April 10, 1975, pitching a scoreless eighth inning in the Mets second game of the season, a 3–2 11-inning loss to the Philadelphia Phillies at Shea Stadium.[2] Baldwin finished the {{By|1975}} season with a 3–5 record and six saves in 54 appearances (all in relief), with a 3.33 ERA in 97.3 innings of work.[1]

In the {{By|1976}} season, Baldwin had only 11 appearances, ending the season with a 0–0 record and no saves in 22.7 innings, with an ERA of 2.38. Baldwin had a 1–2 record and one save in {{By|1977}} in 40 appearances, with a 4.45 ERA in 62.7 innings.[1] Baldwin's final major league appearance was on October 2, 1977, when he faced two batters in the ninth inning, earning a save in a 6–4 Met win over the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.[3]

Baldwin was drafted by the Seattle Mariners from the Mets on December 5, 1977 in that year's rule 5 draft.[1] in the {{By|1978}} season he had a 3–5 record with the Triple-A San Jose Missions (a Mariners affiliate) in the Pacific Coast League and a 3–3 record with the Columbus Clippers of the Triple-A International League (an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates).[4]
