Riga (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Riga, Bairgania and Suppi community development blocks.[1] Riga (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of 4. Sheohar (Lok Sabha constituency).[1] Election resultsIn the November 2010 state assembly elections, the newly created 23 Riga assembly seat Motilal Prasad of BJP defeated Amit Kumar of Congress whose father was a member of RSS and contested unsuccessfully as independent candidate from Bathnaha Vidhan Sabha since 1980 to 2005.
