Robber's Cave (locally known as Guchhupani), located near Sahasradhara (thousand fold spring), is a river cave formation in Himalaya, located approximately 8 km from the centre of Dehradun City in Uttarakhand state of India. The cave is about 600 metres long, divided into two main parts. The cave has a highest fall of about 10 metres. In the central part there is a fort wall structure which is now broken.[1] It consists of an extremely narrow gorge formed in a conglomerate limestone area on Doon Valley's Dehra plateau.[1] It is a natural cave formation where rivers flows inside the cave. The place is a popular tourist spot and is now being maintained by Uttarakhand State. Local bus services are available up to Anarwala Village, from where it is a kilometre's trek away.[2][3] References1. ^{{cite book|last= Singh|first=Surendra|title=Urbanization in Garhwal Himalaya: a geographical interpretation|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=X4FsjWPEeM4C&pg=PA27&dq=Robbers+Cave+Dehradun&hl=en&ei=a6LwTJn_CoSkuAPOz5X0DQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=7&ved=0CEoQ6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=Robbers%20Cave%20Dehradun&f=false|year=1995|publisher=M.D. Publications|isbn=81-85880-69-7|page=27}} 2. ^1 Robber’s Cave (Guchhupani) {{webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20090822052857/http://dehradun.nic.in/dehradun.htm |date=22 August 2009 }} Official website of Dehradun. 3. ^Robbers cave.
